Bathing in Cannabis with CBD Bath Bombs! Great for Fibromyalgia and Improving Sleep

Fibromyalgia is manifested through chronic muscle pain, tender points, chronic fatigue, headache, anxiety, insomnia and gastrointestinal issues.

Science hasn’t found a cure for this health condition, but researchers confirm that CBD bath bombs can be of great help when it comes to relieving the symptoms.

CBD or cannabidiol offers multiple benefits and doesn’t have any psychoactive effect. Laura M. Borgelt, Kari Lanette Franson and Abraham M. Nussbaum conducted a study to determine the impact of CBD on pain.

The results of this study confirmed that CBD can provide the following benefits:

  • Treats anxiety
  • Reduces inflammation
  • Heals acne
  • Cuts down nicotine cravings
  • Relieves epilepsy symptoms
  • Slows down the progression fo symptoms caused by Alzheimer’s

A 2017 study released in Expert Opinion on Therapeutic Targets found that CND can reduce the activity of glia (brain cells) which trigger central sensitization. This is the main characteristic of fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome and migraine.

Fibromyalgia is accompanied by endocannabinoid deficiency. A 2016 review released in Cannabis and Cannabinoid Research found that CBD relieves migraine and irritable bowel syndrome. These ailments are linked to fibromyalgia.

CBD has the power to reduce inflammation. Fibromyalgia isn’t classified as an inflammatory health problem, but sometimes it is manifested through inflammation of connective tissue (fascia).

A 2013 review confirmed that CBD can relieve pain caused by fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis. Cannabis infused topical lotions can be of great help in the treatment of most symptoms, but fibromyalgia affects the body from the inside out. That’s why CBD bath bombs work better than other remedies.

If you decide to use CBD products, buy them from trusted sources that offer regulated and standardized products. Your CBD product has to have a certificate of analysis (COA) which has the CBD and THC content listed in it. Hemp oil has lower amount of cannabidiol than CBD oil, meaning it isn’t as effective as the latter.

We suggest that you make your own CBD bath bombs.

• 1 tbsp coconut oil

• 1/2 cup Epsom salt

• 1/2 cup corn starch

• 1 cup baking soda

• 1/2 cup citric acid

• 1 tsp water
